Teachers of rehabilitative movement and meditation are coming up everywhere. They may teach in different styles and, be volunteers or modestly compensated. But all a love  of deep practice and the compassion to share.

YAMO, Yoga and Mindfulness Outreach, is a nonprofit organization I started in Florida. Under it I have given hundreds of prisons and other special needs classes, and also a few dozen facilitator trainings, both in person and in over Zoom. It is just one of many good trainings available world-wide

Franklin Lenin Gonzalez teaches full time for YAMO in Honduras. He has some 20 years’ experience work saving street children with Casa Alianza, and later doing workshops in the prisons of his country with CPTRT (Committee for the Treatment of Victims of Torture and their Families).

YAMO Instuctors Dina and Karina gives multiple classes in this Honduran prison to disabled, elderly, female, male, youth and gang populations.
